The EDI Onlus Social Cooperative offers job opportunities for educators in several Italian cities.

There are two projects that can be applied for: one on itineraries for the acquisition of skills for digital citizenship (Digital Connections Project) and the other on the issues of the rights of children and adolescents, contrasting early school leaving, peer education pathways and participation in school and extracurricular contexts (Out-of-Class Project in Motion).

Applications for admission to the selection procedure must be received by July 31, 2022. Here is more information.

EDI LABOR EDUCATORS COOPERATIVE

Thus, the EDI Onlus Social Cooperative selects educators to fill jobs within two projects:

  • Digital connections project: pathways for the acquisition of skills for digital citizenship;
  • Out-of-Class in Motion Project: on the issues of the rights of children and adolescents, contrasting early school leaving, peer education courses and participation in school and extracurricular contexts.

WORK PLACES

Recruited candidates will work on the following city:

  • Digital connections project:
    – Ancona (Marche);
    – Foggia (Apulia);
    – Pescara (Abruzzo);
    – Prato (Tuscany);
    – Trieste (Friuli Venezia Giulia);
  • Out-of-Class in Motion Project:
    – Aosta (Aosta Valley);
    – Florence (Tuscany);
    – Messina (Sicily);
    – Milan (Lombardy).

We add that the educators of the Digital Connections Project will be hired at the lower secondary schools with reference girls, children, adolescents and adults (teachers and the educational community).

The people who will be included in the Fuoriclasse in Movimento Project will work with girls, boys, adolescents and adults of reference (teachers and the educational community) in Integral Institutes of the territory.

In both projects, the selected resources will participate in the realization / facilitation of participatory school courses with students and teachers.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have an educational approach in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and Adolescent. Depending on the project chosen, they must also have experience in the following areas:

  • Digital Connections Project: educational and training experiences on issues related to digital technologies, the responsible use of new media and ways of participation;
  • Project Fuoriclasse in Movimento: experience in contrasting issues of early school leaving, in peer education and ways of participation.

SELECTION

Only selected candidates will be contacted to continue the selection process. During the distance oral interview through the Meet platform, the characteristics indicated in the job descriptions will be evaluated.

EDI COOPERATIVE

The EDI Onlus Social Cooperative carries out educational, training and information activities on the human rights of children and adolescents. It was founded in 2012 with the aim of creating a pole of excellence in the training and promotion of human rights. It is connected, by model and culture, with Save the Children, for which the cooperative represents the strategic partner in the planning and execution of training activities. It is headquartered in Rome and has offices in Rome, Milan and Naples.
