SAN BENEDETTO – Tuesday 12 JulyHotel Institut “Buscemi” of San Benedetto del Tronto it has opened its doors to local institutions, businesses and associations. The opportunity was offered by the focus group / event “Between innovation and training needs: New paths with the territory“.
The director welcomed the many participants Manuela Germani and the faculty of the new study pathway planning group. Opening underway prof. Hercules Capriotti illustrated the program of the meeting. Then, the director Germani introduced the debate, recalling the important objectives achieved by the Institute “Buscemi” over the years in the education and vocational training of operators in the food and wine and tourism.
Next, the manager underlined the importance of the new direction of wine tourism “Ospitalia” that integrates the sector of the hospitality industry with the contribution of specific competitions in enogastronomy and culture of the territory.
During the introduction, the themes of the focus group were highlighted: school / territory integration, the growth and choice of young people, internships, the role and image of the school, the fight against early school leaving, the response to training and professionalism. needs of the territory also in the perspective of an economic and cultural relaunch.

The budget councilor of the City Council of San Benedetto del Tronto, Domenico Pellei highlighted the participation of the city administration in European projects for the digital and technological development of tourism. He intervened Fausto Calabresi as provincial president of Confcommercio and regional delegate of the Chamber of Commerce. According to Calabresi, it is important to integrate the city’s development projects with regional policies in relation to vocational and technical education.
During his speech, Massimo Rossi, spokesman for the Piceno Marine Park Association, for his part, stressed the historical need to intervene decisively to protect the marine ecosystem of the Piceno coast. In his speech, Mosconi referred to how many students and graduates of his university started from the banks of the Buscemi.
