For the school next week could come the answers that workers in the sector have been waiting for a long time: next Wednesday is scheduled a double meeting between the administration and the unions on very “hot” issues.

At 9 in the morning the permanent table for the “Economic, social and territorial collaboration” is convened, during which the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi, will be informed about the measures of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for the sector itself. ; the councilor will explain to the unions the status of implementation of the measures.

Also on Wednesday 6, at 4.30 pm, the meeting will take place in Aran for the continuation of the negotiation of the contractual renewal of the National Collective Labor Agreement for the triennium 2019-2021: on this occasion, as was scheduled for June 28, on the organization of ATA staff.

The union Anief He will be present at both roundtables, where he will reiterate his positions: “On the PNR, we will point out that the investments provided for in the Government’s national plan do not affect the key points of our education system,” he says. “Education and Research”: allocates a total of 31.9 billion euros, of which 17 for schools (30.9 billion from the RRF Device and 1 from the Fund) with the aim of strengthening the education system, digital and technical skills of science, research and technology transfer.

Training and initial qualification

With the law of reconversion approved, the modalities of initial training, qualification and access to teaching in secondary are defined. The habilitation training course can be taken after graduation, or during the training course, in addition to the credits required to obtain the degree. There is an internship period in schools. The degree will allow access to examinations, which will take place annually, to fill the vacancies of professor and to speed up access to the function of those who want to teach. The winners of the competition will be hired with a trial period of one year, which will end with an evaluation aimed at verifying the teaching skills acquired by the teacher. While waiting for the new system to come into full operation, direct access to the competition is planned for those who have already been teaching in public schools for a minimum of 3 years. Then, the winners will have to get 30 university credits and take the qualification test to pass the function.

During the transition phase, those who do not already have three years of teaching behind them, but want to teach, will be able to obtain the first 30 university credits, including the internship period, to access the competition. The winners will then take the other 30 credits and take the qualifying test to pass the function. The law also provides for the revision of the current competition classes with their rationalization and consolidation.

Continuing education and National School

The continuous training of teachers will be continuous and structured, in order to encourage the innovation of teaching models, also in light of the experience gained during the health emergency and in line with the objectives of development of innovative teaching that provides the Pnrr. Training on digital skills and on the critical and responsible use of digital tools will be part of the training that is already compulsory for everyone and will take place during working hours. Then, the decree introduces a system of updating and training with a three-year planning that will allow teachers to acquire knowledge and skills to design a teaching with innovative tools and methods. Full-time teachers and system personalities dedicated to school planning will take part. This training will be voluntary for those who are already in office today, it will become mandatory for new hires, once the contract has been adjusted. It will take place at different times of the working day and can be paid after a selective evaluation, it is the so-called incentive training. The criteria of the incentive system and the number of additional hours to be performed will be decided during the negotiation. Continuing education courses will be defined by the School of Higher Education, which is established by the approved decree, and will be responsible not only for adopting the specific guidelines in the field, but also for accrediting and verifying the structures. who will have to teach the teachings. , to ensure the highest quality.
