Swimming, fifteen medals in Chianciano for Nino Bixio’s fry

On Thursday 23 and Friday 24 June Nino Bixio swimmers took part in the 4th Chianciano Terme City Trophy, a national event, in which twenty-one clubs from Tuscany, Umbria, Campania, Liguria, Lazio took part. Marches and Lombardy.

The Piacenza club took the opportunity to do five days of intensive training and take advantage of the races as a “training” to test the times in a workload situation. It was not easy, therefore, for the young swimmers to face the races after the training sessions of the days before the test. The trip was also an opportunity for the children to work together and have fun, sharing their days in Tuscany in the beautiful facilities of Chianciano Terme surrounded by greenery.

Nino Bixio finished in tenth place, taking home 15 medals: three gold medals, won by Anita Frovi (Debutante B) in the 50 breaststroke with 44 “82, by Simone D’Ascanio (Juniors) in the 400 pounds with 4’09” 42 and by Luca Trespidi (Xens) in the 50 dolphins with 27 ”27; six silver, won by Cecilia Ricci (Newcomer A) in the 200 breaststroke with 3’15 “06, by Giorgia Sardi (Newcomer A) in the 400 pounds with 5’17” 92, by Elena Zilli (Fenes) in the 100 breaststroke with 1’21 “98, by Simone D’Ascanio (Juniors) in the 200 pounds with 1’59” 15, by Luca Trespidi (Boys) in 400 smooth with 4’23 “28 and by Matteo Zilli (Boys) in the 200 dolphin with 2’23 “51, finally, six bronze medals, two won by Lucrezia Dordoni (Fenes) in the 100 smooth with 1’02” 93 and in the 400 smooth with 4’49 “37, the others won by Elena Zilli (Girls) in the 200 breaststroke with 2’55 “17, Fabio Ricci (Nos) in 200 pounds with 2’05” 70, Nicola Rossi (Newcomer A) in 50 backstroke with 36 “44 and Luca Triple in 200 dolphin with 2’24 “93.
