A recognition of the long tradition of excellence that characterizes the Istituto Alberghiero di Ladispoli, which has always been a benchmark for all those who aspire to a training based on the highest quality standards in the food and wine sector and in the hospitality: this is what the Regional School Office of Lazio has wanted to attribute to the institute of via Federici in choosing it as the venue for the competition for the qualification and recruitment of food and wine teachers to be held from 28 June to 27 July for sector B020. (Food and wine laboratories – Kitchen) and for the extraordinary dining / bar at the end of July.

It is a choice that certifies the excellent technological equipment of our laboratories that have professional kitchens and state-of-the-art equipment, used daily by our students. This choice proves it and motivates us to continue on the path we have taken. The Hotel Institute of Ladispoli was born more than forty years ago as a branch of the State Professional Institute of Hotel and Catering Services of Tor Carbone in Rome, in turn a headquarters of employees of the first Hotel School of Lazio , in the historic center of Rome. , the only one for a long time, in the whole autonomous territory. Over the years and as required by the 1968 Constitution, several branches have sprung up throughout Lazio (including Ladispoli), which will later become autonomous offices. Since its origins, the fundamental aim of the School of Hospitality has been to train highly qualified staff, providing work stays abroad, especially in France and Great Britain, but also in other European countries.

It is interesting to remember how one of the three nuclei that formed the headquarters of the Istituto Alberghiero di Tor Carbone was for a certain period the residence of Roberto Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman who had many relations (especially the first) with the city of Ladispoli. Always following the thread of historical memory, it is also important to emphasize how R. Rossellini and I. Bergman (but also Anna Magnani) were regular patrons of the most famous restaurant in Ladispoli: the “Federici”, located in via Lazio and later. in Piazza della Vittoria (today Piazzetta Anna Magnani) belonging to the same Gaetano Federici who in 2012 was named the street where the new headquarters of the Hospitality Ladispoli was built, opened in 2013, after the transfer of the already dilapidated structure located in via Ancona.

The Institute has large laboratories of the latest generation in equipment and technological equipment. For several years, the Institute has confronted and collaborated with numerous external issues (from the academic and cultural world to the corporate and productive world, through social volunteering), managing to capture and extract stimuli for reflection and opportunities. to delve deeper into this materialize in the implementation of initiatives and projects complementary to the curriculum, consistent with the curriculum studied by students. In addition, the Institute seeks collaborative relationships and experiences new forms of cooperation and understanding, also through the signing of agreements with Public Administrations and local bodies capable of encouraging the innovation of training processes and interaction with the territory.

Using the most modern teaching methodologies and strategies and making use of a consolidated network of relationships with local companies, the Hotel Ladispoli offers three courses: Food and wine (with the new option in artisanal and industrial confectionery products), Dining services and Sales and Tourist Reception.

The Hotel Institute allows you to achieve, together with the appropriate professional skills, a deep cultural preparation suitable both for the continuation of studies (university or higher technical training), and for insertion in the world of work.
