The examination of the reform of teacher recruitment begins. Tomorrow, Wednesday 25 May, at 2.30 pm (live on Orizzonte Scuola TV on Facebook and YouTube) there will be a hearing by the Minister of Education, Patrizio Bianchi. The head of the Viale Trastevere department will be audited by joint commissions I and VII (Constitutional Affairs and Education).

As well as signals Italy today, there is discontent among the majority forces. There are strong doubts about the application of the provision and there are no shortage of critical issues, from the hiring system to the stabilization of precarious workers, through compulsory teacher training.

Few hopes, in fact, for a real distortion of the decree law. It seems, in fact, that the Minister of Education has stopped any attempt at change: the basic structure proposed through community funds cannot be changed. Yes to improvements, but they need to be targeted.

Meanwhile, unions promise battle. Within the week there will be a new meeting in Aran for the renewal of the contract. Then there is the issue of the strike on Monday 30 May in which union forces will try to pressure the government.

The margins of a maneuver, however, are very tight and the changes to the layout will not be periodical unless there are sensational turns.
