WeWorld Onlus is an Italian independent organization, born from the union of GVC Onlus (established in Bologna in 1971) and WeWorld (founded in Milan in 1999), with the aim of increasing the impact of Development Cooperation and Aid projects. . In particular, the program LA SCUOLA DELLE COMPETENZE provides for the creation of empowerment and teacher training courses to innovate the teaching methodology and integrate a renewed didactic approach with a strong educational component capable of updating school institutions to the new pedagogical challenges of this one. time.

It aims to reduce early school leaving and educational poverty and provides for joint action with the school and the territory, activating relational exchanges between children and the different actors in the educational community (parents, educational agencies and the reality of TS ). ).

The improvement and implementation of local resources contributes to the development of active local strategies and networks, in support of active citizenship and the development of both individual and community empowerment processes. The aim of the program is to reduce early school leaving as a way of losing the human, social and professional capital of young people, who should instead be the engine of change in the most peripheral and fragile neighborhoods. Specifically, through the actions of the WeWorld educational programs, the aim is to increase the relational, personal, psychosocial skills of the youngest beneficiaries, especially from the most popular neighborhoods, to turn them into active resources for the territories.

Job description

WeWorld is looking for an educator for the school innovation program

Availability required: about 15 hours per week


The pedagogue will work in some schools in the Milan area:

  • Management of educational / laboratory activities in the classroom
  • Methodological support for teachers
  • Animation activities of the educational community
  • Constant connection with the project manager and the national coordinator of WeWorld
  • Writing reports updating the activities carried out


Qualifications and knowledge

  • Degree in pedagogical disciplines
  • Knowledge of the national regulatory framework on schooling and the fight against early school leaving
  • Relationship skills with different stakeholders (institutions, associations, non-profit organizations, etc.)
  • Knowledge of skills education and life skills training program
  • Excellent knowledge of MSOffice applications

Professional experiences

  • Proven experience in educational activity in non-profit organizations in Italy or around the world (associations, foundations, cooperatives)
  • Previous experience in social work with minors
