Here’s what fans are saying:

Fans said the sailor “has that Brinkley smile”

Model Christie Brinkley, 68, posted a series of photos of her and her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook, 23, on a boat while on vacation. The two smile from ear to ear and Christie wrote, “A tired but happy couple travels from Pirates to the Caribbean!”

In the comments, fans are going crazy for what the two look like.

“Mom and her mini self,” one fan wrote. Another added: “Awww. I love seeing Christie and her beautiful children. She was the best supermodel. She’s still the best imo supermodel.”

“Beauties inside and out. Sailor has that Brinkley smile,” wrote a third fan, and a fourth simply wrote, “Twinning!”

“Pure happiness. The happiest girls are really the prettiest! wrote another fan and one added: “You two look more like sisters for being great! So beautiful!”

Sailor is Christie’s third child; her father is Christie’s third ex-husband, Peter Cook. Christie also has a daughter named Alexa Ray from her first marriage, to singer Billy Joel, and a son named Jack from her second marriage, who was with Richard Taubman.

Christie’s fans are also big fans of when Alexa Ray makes an appearance on her mother’s Instagram account. In February 2022, Christie posted a photo of the two of them having their morning coffee together and their fans were delighted.

“Alexa is so beautiful,” one fan wrote, and another added, “Alexa-Ray, you’re so beautiful! Of course, Christie is too! Women are just as beautiful and strong!”

“You’re very lucky to get along so well with your daughters,” wrote a third fan.

At Thanksgiving and Christmas 2021, Christie welcomed her three children home to celebrate the holidays.

Sailor took her mother’s place in “Dancing with the Stars” when Christie broke her arm

Christie was supposed to compete in the 28th season of “Dancing with the Stars” with her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy. But during the rehearsals before the premiere, she tripped and fell, fell on her arm and broke her, which required surgery, so Sailor intervened to replace her mother with a lot of little advance.

In a statement at the time, BBC Studios and ABC said: “We wish Christie a speedy and complete recovery and look forward to seeing her in the audience whenever possible to proudly support Sailor.”

Sailor and Val would finish in ninth place. After being removed, Sailor wrote a lengthy thank-you post on Instagram, saying “Dancing with the Stars” changed her life.

Sailor wrote:

Last night was heartbreaking. I wasn’t so ready for this experience to end so soon, but hey, I’m grateful for every minute!

I loved every moment of sweat in the study of the evidence that pushes me beyond so many inhibitions and insecurities … and then doing something every Monday that I never thought I would be able to in a million years. years. It was a gift, no matter how nervous I was getting on that stage, I was always looking around and thinking what my life was like !? How lucky am I ?! This experience changed my whole outlook on life.

All my life I’ve let my fears hold me back from everything I wasn’t comfortable with. This experience made me feel unstoppable. … Thank you all for showing me so much love and to all my closest friends and family for always believing in me and supporting me. Thanks to all the DWTS staff for always showing unconditional kindness. To my co-stars who quickly became such good friends, thank you for welcoming me and being so kind and supportive. I will miss you guys! … And many thanks to my intrepid partner and friend @valentin for everything, for believing in my strengths, for never giving up, for making me fly every day (I think this photo of us in the study sums it up) I will really miss dancing next to you. But I know it won’t be the last time.

I am so grateful to have taken this opportunity, to have made friends with truly amazing people, to have had some experiences on my wish list, and to have these stories to tell forever. And I will never stop dancing !!!! Feeling so full of love and gratitude! Thanks!!!

At the time, Christie posted a photo of her daughter dancing like Cinderella and wrote, “Last week, my youngest princess @sailorbrinkleycook became Cinderella on @dancingabc. hand at Disneyland as she shyly approached the beautiful Cinderella to whisper a timid greeting, so watching her dance with her lovely partner @valentin was a very emotional moment … well, I was surprised by all the tears that m They will overwhelm me every time I see my baby dancing during this whole unexpected adventure!

Then, after Sailor was removed, Christie wrote in another post: “Dear Sailor and Val, thank you for your work that has brought us beauty and joy! May you both always have a song in your heart that will make you dance with abandon wild through a grateful life of stimulating joy! You don’t have to be on a TV show to keep smiling and dancing … and that’s the ultimate prize! “

“Dancing with the Stars” returns for its 31st season in the fall of 2022 on Disney Plus.
