A new project to offer Genoese schools an innovative and inclusive model, which emphasizes the continuity between the different educational levels of the 0-13 age group, using digital technologies as an opportunity for didactic and directive renewal.
The Reconnect to Include project is divided into two levels aimed at Genoese schools: Digital and Inclusive Genoa, ie support for schools to promote innovation, digitization, redesign of educational, didactic and training itineraries, l digital education and social innovation, which supports the development of teachers, managers and educators, through the use of digital technologies as a lever of change and accompanies schools in the efficient and effective use of the resources made available through the convocations of the Pon or the Pnrr.
Contacts have been initiated to carry out a co-financing initiative between the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and the Con i Bambini Social Enterprise, which will further enrich the opportunities offered by the Reconnect project to include. The government of the intervention will be entrusted to a control room in which the Municipality of Genoa, the regional school office, the municipal conference of autonomies, the Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and the Foundation for the School will participate.
Digital and inclusive Genoa, which reconnects with the funding opportunities offered by the Pnrr Education in favor of local bodies, implements digitization in schools in order to redesign educational, teaching and training itineraries from a system perspective that , in logic of full inclusion, consolidate. the growth path of children and young people, from the first years of life and the participation of families.
“Reconnecting to include is part of the consolidated collaboration of the Municipality of Genoa with the Compagnia di San Paolo and the Foundation for the School, for the development of educational interventions aimed at schools in the city – explains the councilor of Educational Policies Barbara Grosso – Yes, it is a project designed and implemented to combat early school leaving and is inspired by two concepts: innovation, that is, the ability to design non-traditional educational experiences, even with the ‘help with digital technologies and inclusion, understood as the ability to work with a class group, even heterogeneous, without leaving anyone behind’.
